We bought this with the wardrobe package for our 9 yr old sons bedroom. It looks great in the book, but on arrival and assembly of it, i was disappointed to see that all the units in this design had CARDBOARD backs!! This isnt mentioned in the advertisement of it, otherwise i wouldnt have bought it. The drawers are flimsy, the same as the ones on the wardrobe, and so shouldnt be overloaded, or have anything too thick or weighty in them incase they collapse!
It looks a nice unit, but certainly wont last more than a couple of years at the very most. It will do for now.

We bought this as a shelf for the baby we are expecting because we didn't have enough room for a changing table or dresser. We put this in our living room with baby clothes hidden in the drawers and baby changing items on the shelf (nappies, wipes, etc).
The item looks very nice and is very sturdy (it will wobble if you don't put it together correctly and tighten all the screws). The drawers are a little stiff but loosen up as you move the drawers in and out.
We will be purchasing another shelf and putting them side-by-side to look like one unit.

Not worth the money

This product cost more than I originally wanted to spend, but it was the only item of it's type I could find narrow enough for where I wanted it. I am soooo dissapointed. The top edges of the sides are uncovered so the adjoining side laminate has broken off easily in places looking messy, the drilled holes were in the wrong places on one side so I had to drill more and leave other unsightly holes showing, there are no screw hole covers as I would expect for this price, draw carcasses look cheap, I was left with 30 screws that had no purpose. I could go on. If it weren't for the fact there was nothing else suistable I would have sent it back with a massive complaint. To be honest it was like early days MFI/Argos furniture - don't waste your money.

Bought alongside the Orlando package. Delivery quite quick. Delivery guys helpful and pleasant. Quality as expected for the money paid. Went together OK. Laminate bit patchy in areas. Backing panel quite flimsy. Bracket provided to fix to wall as quite unstable without. Overall, happy with what I got for what I paid plus it fits the tight space available in my daughter's bedroom.

The only disappointment was that the back board was white and not the same colour as the wood effect of the unit. Hubby had the bright idea of leaving the top shelves open at the back and cutting down the backing board and using it behind the draws to provide stability for the unit. Done this way it has worked out perfectly for what we wanted.

This was a great purchase, it is a solid piece of furniture for a reasonable amount of money. It is well finished off and very sturdy. Thank you Asda for a speedy delivery, ordered one day,delivered two days later. Excellent!!!!!

Purchased this item for the nursery, has good sized shelves and adequate draw space. Had a little trouble getting the unit square so the draws wouldn't line up properly but that was probably down to my workmanship!

Fits in well with the new three double door wardrobe purchased at the same time. Built for free and has enough space for extra items not catered for elsewhere. Will probably buy this again for another room.

Overall quality was as expected. Would have helped at outset to have some instructions. Also at completion of unit there were a considerable amount of screws left over.

I'm glad I paid for this extra piece to go with the Orlando package, it looks nice, and the big shelves hold all my son's oversized books, which were too big for his bookcase.
