Very much like the mp3 link however would be better if coulud use as alarm.
Light is very bright even when dimmed

The numbers on the screen were very thin black figures on a bright white background; impossible to read from any sort of distance. Also, the screen was so bright I could read a book by it. Not ideal for a restfuil night.
We have taken it back and bought a very neat little Sony instead.

i will be returning mine for the same sort of reason as when you lie down as it is a alarm clock radio the lcd screen diasappears eg is not visible which if you look at time during the night you cannot see without sitting UP

This product is not suitable as a clock radio as display is too bright and you can hardly see the time.

Having already returned the asda clock radio as being too booming loud. I bought this product which to my surprise has ascending volume,to wake you, but unfortunately ends up with the radio(like the asda one) far too loud to listen in comfort and cannot be regulated.The buttons are hard to find in the dark as you frantically try to turn the thing down.It is not easy to use - eg the on/off button when using the radio only is the "source" button pressed up to 3 times.The display light, even when dimmed,is too bright to sleep by and far too bright to discern the time,but can be turned off altogether - so this radio alarm is going back as well

illumiatnion at night was non existant. returned this product for this reason.

I own a Philips clock radio that my late father bought me in 1982..that was & is still going strong, however the MW reception for radio 5 was getting worse, so I bought the Dab clock radio after putting off the inevitable
it is great quality and excellent value for money..I love the sound quality but I miss my LED clock winking at me in the night, I do not hjave the back light lit on the new DAB as it is too bright, but overall I love my new purchase, my old Philips clock radio is now in the guest room, still going strong after all these years.
