Binatone X350 UK & ROI
The Binatone X350 UK&ROI is a slimline 3.5 inch touch-screen LCD SatNav, light and portable. It comes with maps of the UK and Republic of Ireland. Finding an address in the UK can be done through the full UK 7 digit postcode. Safety camera locations are pre-installed. Over 100,000 points of interest are pre-installed to find parking, hotels, petrol stations, restaurants etc. It can be used in car or as a pedestrian. Also features a digital picture viewer.

This SatNav is extremely simple. It has just the basic functions to get from A to B and not much more. The SatNav takes ages to receive GPS signal and therfore can only be used when one is going someplace with leisure. It is guaranteed to delay you if u're in a rush as it does not pick up a wrong turn quick enough and takes ages calculating routes etc. Good for people who want just the basic out of the satnav and are not in arush to get anywhere.

this product represents excellent value for money,the instructions are clear - easy set up. Much more than expected in terms of information for a sat nav of this price.

Good basic sat nav which provides all the necessary information needed to get from a to b without the added expense of all the extra's which usually people do not use frequently. Good value for money particularly as this item can be theft attractive. So easy to use.

couldn't find its way out of a paper bag
tried to use it on a coup[le of occasions took me the wrong way down the a500-for about 10 miles says turn right down a one way street

for £50 u cannot go wrong -does what it says on the tin.the full screen view when approaching the exiting roundabouts is worth the purchase price alone.

The Binatone X350 is an excellent entry level SATNAV. Finding your way around Britain is easy and the map facility is useful and worth the money without any of the SATNAV facilities.
Set up is a breeze and I was up and running in minutes.
Watch the battery life and make sure you have easy access to recharging either by the car charger or the USB computer lead.

My first sat nav. It seems to work ok, after a little practice. However it takes ages to locate the satellite when it is first swithcd on. Maybe I am doing something wrong. The Binatone web site is not very helpfull. I don't see the point of buying a more expensive sat nav, when the x350 is this good for 55quid.

fair performance for the money - reacts slow to recalculate route - by the time it recalculates the route , you have travelled another 200 yards.
good for motoways , in town not so responsive to twist and turns. I have been told to turn into one way streets with the traffic coming towards me . So long as you use your brain and dont follow blindly its ok.

They've not happened for a while but I got a message from Binatone today as follows:

Thanks for your e-mail
The updates are currently being tested at the moment by our engineers before we release them. We currently have separate websites for our Binatone sat navs, Binatone phones, Idect, S-Life internet phones and Voxtel products. Our new website is going to incorporate all these on one site but as yet do not know which address there will be using but all the existing addresses will redirect you to the new site for a limited time. Regretfully there has been a long delay in building the new site. The updates will be available before the end of this month. Unfortunately a decision hasn't been made as yet to the cost of these but will be available from the website or by phoning our Helpline.

We bought the Binatone satnav with no second thoughts.
We have tried it several times now, with no problems.
As they say, "It does what it says on the box".We just need to try and get the Western Europe maps, and we are sorted.

I've tried a TomTom (One V3) and yes, it is better. However, for the price this unit is fine and does the job well.
The unit is also slimmer than the Tom Tom I used so its easier to carry around.

i was using tomtom for a long time and i saw this binatone cheap and did not expect much but i have to say for the price it is a fantastic sat nav and has not got me lost at all in factv i have now sold my tomtom and i am sticking with my binatone thank you for a great product

This is fine for what it does,A Satnav, gets you from A to B and anywhere else you want to get to in between. Easy to use, easy to follow why spend £200 for something that does exactly the same as this...Recommended

If ever the phrase 'You get what you pay for' needs to be said, it is about this item. The Binatone X350 UK & ROI is a basic tool for travelling around but don't be surprised if you end up half a mile or so away from where you want to be. It picked the edge of a destination post code to tell me I was actually somewhere I was supposed to be but in the end was another half a mile down the same road. I do appreciate that an exact address is better than a post code but you don't always know the address. A little bit of thought where it says that you could be at your destintion but be aware that this could also be another mile or so down whatever way would be ideal. Saying that it is very easy to use and has fairly clear vocal directions. Bit to much thin plastic though for my liking.
